About Ledger

A simple, honest record of your Bible reading — the chapters you read, the days you showed up, and a grade you give yourself.

Why we made it

A friend showed me one day how he studied his Bible. He kept paper sheets and graded himself on them — a plain, honest look at how he was really doing.

That stuck with me. To grow closer to Christ you have to read His word, pray, and listen. A grade on a page has a way of telling you the truth when your memory won't.

So Ledger is those sheets, on your phone. Log the chapters you read, see them land on the calendar, get a letter grade for the day, and a report for the week and the month. Nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for before you look around.

Support Ledger

Ledger is free, and it stays free. Hosting, the Bible versions and the sync between your phone and your account all cost something each month, and gifts from readers are what keep it running.

If there is money left over after the app's costs are covered, it goes back out — given to a church or a charity. Nothing extra is kept.
